Position Summary:<br>The Accounting Manager/Controller oversees all financial and accounting operations—ensuring the integrity of corporate financial reporting, implementing accounting controls, and managing a diverse team responsible for multiple business units.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Lead the accounting department’s daily operations across business entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.<br>Prepare, review, and analyze consolidated financial statements; ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal controls.<br>Develop and implement robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.<br>Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.<br>Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for all subsidiaries.<br>Partner with executive leadership to provide strategic insight on financial performance, operational risks, and business opportunities.<br>Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.<br>Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize accounts management across entities.<br>Support software implementations, upgrades, and financial system integrations <br>Manage payroll, benefits administration, and statutory compliance for multi-state/multi-region workforces.<br>Mentor, supervise, and develop accounting staff.

In this position, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage a diverse range of accounting functions within a manufacturing environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in compliance with GAAP and internal standards.</p><p>• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.</p><p>• Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, inventory accounting, and general accounting, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.</p><p>• Manage inventory accounting tasks, including physical inventory checks and maintaining fixed asset ledgers.</p><p>• Develop and maintain cost accounting processes within the manufacturing facility.</p><p>• Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecast updates for the plant.</p><p>• Lead and support quality initiatives and Responsible Care programs to align with organizational goals.</p><p>• Provide leadership and direction to accounting staff, fostering process improvements and team development.</p><p>• Analyze financial and operational data to enhance company performance and support decision-making.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal controls.</p>
