We believe it’s important to support the communities where Robert Half employees live and work. Most of our company-sponsored philanthropic programs are focused on education and workforce development, which make them a great fit for us, given the nature of our work. Every year, Robert Half donates to the Red Crosses in every country where we have an office to support disaster relief efforts to help those who need it most. We’re proud to have built long-standing relationships with many community partners, including the following:
Robert Half encourages our employees to take the lead through volunteer work and fundraising activities that support the issues that matter most to them personally. Every year, each part- and full-time employee can have their donations and volunteer hours matched up to $2,000: 1. Robert Half will match donations made to eligible nonprofit organizations. 2. The company will match totals for participating in actively-based fundraising, like walks, rides and runs. 3. For every hour an employee volunteers with an eligible nonprofit, Robert Half will give a $15 “Happy Hours” grant to that charity. 4. $500 of the $2,000 is designated for our strategic DEI partners through our "Giving for Equality" program.
During our annual Suit Drive, we work with clients, job candidates and business contacts to collect professional clothing for economically disadvantaged job seekers. But we offer them more than just clothing. The suits we provide help people feel confident during their job searches. Since 2002, we have collected more than 400,000 items for job seekers who are assisted by Dress for Success and similar organizations. In recent years, we have found new ways for our employees and customers to collaborate and support job seekers.
Our Holiday Giving program allows Robert Half employees to support their local communities during November and December. Projects range from collecting toys, food and clothing to organizing parties for children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA). Since 2006, our employees and customers have donated more than 140,000 toys and games, recently adapting their efforts to fulfilling wish lists and fundraising virtually for the BGCA and other nonprofits.
Our Robert Half Cares program allows our employees to connect with global colleagues and support our local communities. They can volunteer virtually, fundraise for a nonprofit or make a donation to a cause they care deeply about. There are many ways to get involved, including through our Employee Network Groups, hands-on volunteer events and engagement with our strategic nonprofit partners.
At Robert Half, we value the insights and priorities of our employees when evaluating grant requests. That’s why we provide options for nonprofit organizations seeking funding, all of which include input from our employees.
