Leigh Chaban

Leigh is an SVP, Senior Group Managing Director specializing in executive- and senior-level search engagements across a wide range of industries and functional areas. Her area of expertise includes searches for CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, vice presidents and other senior-level positions for client companies. She works with a diverse client base, including Fortune 500 and small and medium-size public and private companies, as well as private equity and venture-backed firms. She has additional expertise with founder-driven and family-owned entities, advising owners, CEOs, and investors through times of ownership, generational or leadership shifts.

With a keen eye to shareholder value and corporate culture fit, Leigh assists her clients in finding the very best talent for executive management and leadership teams in finance and accounting, operations, technology, human resources, and sales and marketing. Her industry expertise includes healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing and distribution, professional services, technology, entertainment, real estate and construction, education, and nonprofit.

Experience

Prior to joining Robert Half Executive Search, Leigh spent over a decade as a senior member of the Robert Half Financial Search and Placement Division, where she was consistently recognized as a high-echelon performer and earned an excellent reputation as a results-oriented search professional. As a senior member of the team, Leigh specialized in placing top-level executives, including chief financial officers, chief accounting officers, corporate controllers, vice presidents of finance and public accounting partners.

Personal and Professional Activities

Throughout her career, Leigh has been involved with numerous charities and organizations. She has donated her time as a volunteer to several children’s charities and has been active in her community, teaching and mentoring disadvantaged children. As an animal lover, Leigh is a member of PAWS and the Anti-Cruelty Society. Leigh attended Illinois State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communications.
