We are looking for a highly skilled IT Security Analyst to join our team in Whitby, Ontario. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets by implementing and managing advanced security measures. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the non-profit sector and leverage your expertise in cybersecurity to protect critical systems and sensitive data.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop, implement, and manage IT security strategies to protect the organization’s digital assets.<br>• Monitor and analyze security systems, ensuring the detection and mitigation of potential threats.<br>• Configure and maintain firewalls, including Cisco and Checkpoint technologies, to strengthen network security.<br>• Secure cloud environments and services such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365, including Active Directory.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT security vulnerabilities.<br>• Utilize tools such as Trellix Endpoint Protection, Cisco Firepower, and Citrix NetScaler to enhance security protocols.<br>• Ensure compliance with ISO 27000 standards and other relevant security frameworks.<br>• Conduct regular assessments to identify risks and recommend improvements.<br>• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex security issues.<br>• Document security policies, procedures, and incident responses to support organizational resilience.

• Minimum of a 3-year diploma in Computer/Information Technology or a related discipline.<br>• Over 7 years of progressive experience in information security, including identifying and addressing IT security deficiencies.<br>• Strong knowledge of IT security architectures, cloud services, and operating systems.<br>• Proven expertise in securing Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Azure environments.<br>• Experience with a range of security tools, including Trellix ePO, Cisco Firepower, and Skyhigh Client Proxy.<br>• Familiarity with firewall technologies, including Checkpoint and Cisco ASA.<br>• Proficiency in ISO 27000 standards related to information security and risk management.<br>• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise creative solutions.
