<p>Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Finance team for a 3+ month contract. This is an opportunity where the contract can be extended or converted into a permanent full-time role.</p><p><br></p><p>Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting your responsibilities will include:</p><p><br></p><p>• Assist with preparation of consolidated financial statements</p><p>• Undertake analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts</p><p>• Review journal entries and working papers</p><p>• Undertake some management reporting</p><p>• Intercompany reconciliations</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated CPA with 5+ years experience where it’s a combination of public practice and progressive accounting experience in industry</p><p><br></p><p>In addition, the following skills and experience are desired:</p><p><br></p><p>• Strong GL, bank account and intercompany reconciliation experience along with year-end audit experience</p><p>• IFRS accounting experience and mining experience</p><p>• Multi-entity/multi-currency experience would be an asset</p><p>• SAP S/4HANA and Onestream experience would be an asset</p><p>• Team player and collaborative</p><p>• Great communication skills</p><p>• Ability to work independently and “hit the ground running”</p><p>• Can automate business processes</p><p><br></p><p>If you are an experienced accounting and financial professional, please submit your resume to Robert Half Management Resources today.
