Project Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to join a non-profit organization in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Contract basis. This short-term opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys structured administrative work and can maintain accuracy while managing a high volume of records. The successful candidate will support a focused document digitization initiative by preparing, scanning, and organizing employee files for secure storage within the organization’s SharePoint environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Convert physical employee records into clear, properly labelled PDF files for digital retention<br>• Upload and organize scanned documents within the company’s SharePoint intranet in a consistent and logical manner<br>• Review files for completeness and legibility to ensure accurate electronic recordkeeping<br>• Maintain orderly handling of confidential documents throughout the scanning and filing process<br>• Track progress against project timelines and help keep the assignment moving efficiently<br>• Perform general clerical support tasks related to document preparation, sorting, and file management
• Previous experience in administrative, clerical, or records support work<br>• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail when handling large volumes of information<br>• Ability to stay focused while completing repetitive tasks within a deadline-driven project<br>• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint<br>• Experience with scanning, data entry, and organizing digital or physical files<br>• Strong time management skills and the ability to follow established procedures<br>• Detail-oriented approach to handling sensitive or confidential employee information
