<p>On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced <strong>Instructional Designer / eLearning Consultant</strong> to support a variety of digital learning and organizational training initiatives. This consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and updating engaging learning experiences for employees across a range of business and technology-focused subject areas.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a hands-on consulting opportunity suited to an experienced instructional designer who can independently take learning initiatives from initial requirements and needs analysis through storyboarding, development, testing, and final delivery.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Contract Duration:</strong> Initial 3-month engagement, with potential for extension</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Approximately 28–35 hours per week</p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> September 2026</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote / Flexible</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and develop engaging, interactive eLearning courses using <strong>Articulate 360</strong></li><li>Create learning materials including simulations, scenario-based learning, branching activities, microlearning, videos, animations, and just-in-time resources</li><li>Develop storyboards, course maps, learning objectives, assessments, facilitator resources, and supporting documentation</li><li>Translate complex business and technology concepts into clear, accessible learning experiences</li><li>Develop and edit instructional videos using <strong>Camtasia</strong> or comparable video editing tools</li><li>Review and modernize existing learning materials to improve usability, engagement, and long-term maintainability</li><li>Apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning theory throughout the development process</li><li>Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend appropriate delivery methods and learning solutions</li><li>Collaborate with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the development lifecycle</li><li>Manage multiple learning initiatives and priorities while meeting project timelines</li><li>Support learning initiatives related to emerging technologies, enterprise applications, workplace policies, onboarding, and employee development</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>3–5 years of professional instructional design and eLearning development experience</strong></li><li>Advanced hands-on experience with <strong>Articulate 360</strong>, including Storyline and/or Rise</li><li>Experience using <strong>Camtasia</strong> or equivalent video editing software</li><li>Demonstrated experience developing highly interactive digital learning experiences</li><li>Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning theory</li><li>Experience conducting needs assessments and developing learning objectives, course maps, storyboards, and assessments</li><li>Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage deliverables and timelines</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts</li></ul><p><br></p>
