<p>This is a full-time position for a data architect in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will work with a small team of technical professionals, and you’ll be working on a wide range of software systems. This company operates in the financial services industry, and you’ll be working with several data feeds and information systems. Your goal will be to design and deploy a data governance framework. As this is a smaller team, you’ll be hands-on with the day-to-day operation, support and enhancement of the data platforms.</p><p><br></p><p>If you are a data professional who enjoys getting involved with various aspects of the systems, then this could be a great job for you. <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Here are some of the items that you&#39;ll bring to the table for this role:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>You have 10 or more years of recent, hands-on experience as a data analyst, data engineer, data architect, or similar</li><li>You have the ability to both design, and deploy, complex data solutions</li><li>You are familiar with modern, cloud-based data processing platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or similar)</li><li>You live in the Vancouver area, and you’re comfortable commuting to the office approximately 80% of the time (20% work from home)</li></ul>
