The Vancouver office is a growth platform and this hire is part of that build-out.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About The Role:</strong></p><p>My client is seeking a mid-senior level Banking &amp; Finance Associate to join the Vancouver team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documentation, and ancillary financing documents for lender and borrower-side mandates.</li><li>Advise on senior secured, subordinated, second-lien, and syndicated lending transactions.</li><li>Support cross-border financing deals involving US and international financial institutions.</li><li>Act on venture, mezzanine, and technology-focused financing transactions.</li><li>Conduct and manage due diligence on financing transactions, including title, PPSA, and corporate searches.</li><li>Work alongside partners on complex and high-value matters, with increasing file ownership as your experience grows.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Candidate Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking and finance or corporate lending from a reputable Canadian or international firm.</li><li>Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia (or eligible for transfer).</li><li>Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents and related financing documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with PPSA registration, corporate searches, and due diligence processes in BC or other Canadian jurisdictions.</li><li>Comfort working on lender and borrower side.</li><li>Strong drafting skills and commercial judgment.</li></ul><p>If this sounds like the role for you, please apply today!
