<p><strong>Controller – Construction Industry</strong></p><p><strong>Surrey, BC | Full-Time | On-Site</strong></p><p>Robert Half Finance are seeking an experienced Controller from the construction industry to lead the finance function for a growing organization based in Surrey. Flexibility may be available for family obligations; otherwise, regular on-site presence is required. This position is currently vacant and we are looking for an ideal candidate to start asap.</p>

<p>To be considered, candidates should bring:</p><ul><li>Extensive accounting and finance leadership experience within a construction environment (minimum required 3+ years post CPA or management level experience in construction sector) </li><li>Experience serving as the senior financial leader for an organization, with full ownership of the accounting function</li><li>Proven experience managing and developing a team of 4–5+ accounting staff, including performance management</li><li>Strong background in financial planning and analysis (FP&amp;A), forecasting, and supporting strategic business decisions</li><li>Experience working directly with ownership or executive leadership as a trusted financial partner</li><li>Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end processes while overseeing day-to-day accounting operations</li><li>Multi-entity accounting experience</li><li>Strong project accounting and WIP reporting experience</li><li>CPA designation preferred; however, significant heavy construction industry experience will be prioritized</li><li>Ability to step into a vacant role and succeed in an environment that requires initiative, independence, and self-direction</li></ul><p>JO #05150-0013446137</p>
