Administrative Assistant
<p>We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our clients team in Surrey, British Columbia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth administrative operations within our non-profit organization. Your expertise in managing correspondence, supporting HR functions, and maintaining accurate documentation will be vital to the success of our team.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage and organize email correspondence, handling up to 50-80 emails daily with accuracy and professionalism.</p><p>• Assist with employee verification processes and update staff records using Excel spreadsheets.</p><p>• Perform data entry tasks and provide support in posting job openings.</p><p>• Prepare and update HR materials, ensuring documentation and forms are accurate and readily available.</p><p>• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and maintaining organized records.</p><p>• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars to support efficient operations.</p><p>• Respond to inbound calls and provide excellent customer service to address inquiries effectively.</p>
• Proven experience in administrative support, including managing high volumes of email correspondence.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.<br>• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Familiarity with HR processes, including employee verification and maintaining records.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively and support team objectives.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills for correspondence requiring attention to detail.<br>• Knowledge of advanced Excel functions, such as formulas and pivot tables, is highly desirable.
