Antenna Structure Engineer
<p>We are looking for an accomplished Antenna Structure Engineer to contribute to satellite antenna infrastructure initiatives for a federal consulting environment in Ottawa, Ontario. This position focuses on engineering design, structural assessment, foundation considerations, and the preparation of clear technical documentation to support complex project delivery. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in antenna systems and related network infrastructure while working closely with stakeholders to advance reliable, compliant solutions.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Perform <strong>analysis, design, and/or implementation</strong> of antenna structures and their foundations</li><li>Contribute to the delivery of <strong>satellite antenna infrastructure projects</strong></li><li>Develop and author <strong>technical project documentation</strong>, including:</li><li>Statements of Work (SOW)</li><li>Statements of Requirements (SOR)</li><li>Technical specifications</li><li>Support engineering activities across the full project lifecycle</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with federal standards and project requirements</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>Experience</p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>10 years of experience</strong> (within the last 20 years) as an <strong>Antenna Structure Engineer</strong></li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years of experience</strong> (within the last 10 years) writing <strong>technical documentation</strong> for IM/IT projects valued at <strong>$5M or more</strong></li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years of experience</strong> (within the last 10 years) delivering projects involving <strong>satellite antenna infrastructure</strong>, including at least <strong>two of the following</strong>:</li><li>Analysis</li><li>Design</li><li>Implementation</li></ul><p><strong>Education &amp; Certification</strong> <em>(one of the following required)</em></p><ul><li>Engineering or Science degree from a <strong>recognized Canadian university</strong></li><li> <strong>OR</strong></li><li>Non-Canadian Engineering/Science degree with accreditation from:</li><li>Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC)</li><li>World Education Services (WES)</li><li>University of Toronto Comparative Education Services</li><li> <strong>OR</strong></li><li>Minimum <strong>2-year diploma/certificate</strong> from a recognized college in <strong>IM/IT field</strong></li><li> <strong>OR</strong></li><li>Licensed <strong>Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)</strong> in Canada</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Active <strong>Secret Security Clearance</strong> </li><li>Ability to work <strong>onsite 5 days per week</strong> at Carling Avenue </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Experience working within <strong>federal government environments</strong> is considered an asset</li></ul><p><br></p>
