<p>Our client, a growing technology-enabled organization, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations function.</p><p><br></p><p>Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will oversee financial reporting, controllership, team leadership, compliance, cash management, and process improvement initiatives while supporting the organization&#39;s continued growth.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is well-suited for a CPA who enjoys balancing technical accounting responsibilities with leadership, business partnering, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping financial processes, supporting acquisitions and integrations, and helping drive the business forward.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Lead and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals</li><li>Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and compliance frameworks</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities</li><li>Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management initiatives</li><li>Coordinate annual audit activities and external reporting requirements</li><li>Drive process improvement, automation, and systems optimization projects</li><li>Support acquisition, integration, and business growth initiatives</li><li>Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations</li><li>Develop financial models and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making</li><li>Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and team development</li></ul>

<ul><li>CPA designation required</li><li>Progressive controllership and financial leadership experience</li><li>Strong technical accounting background</li><li>Experience managing and developing finance teams</li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li><li>Experience with ERP systems and financial technology platforms</li><li>Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and audit processes</li><li>Experience within technology, software, professional services, SaaS, or other dynamic growth-focused environments is an asset</li></ul>
