We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and oversee a diverse range of security initiatives for the City of Hamilton. This contract position involves managing multiple projects, including cloud security, identity and access management, and data protection, while ensuring alignment with governance and compliance frameworks. If you excel in dynamic environments and possess strong technical and leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the planning and delivery of multiple concurrent cybersecurity projects, including cloud security, identity management, and data protection initiatives.<br>• Manage projects involving Microsoft security tools such as Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender Suite.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of security programs.<br>• Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including schedules, charters, and communication plans.<br>• Support internal audits and compliance efforts by organizing evidence collection and documentation.<br>• Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53 by tracking compliance deliverables.<br>• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.<br>• Partner with data governance teams to embed security measures and access controls into projects.<br>• Help establish standardized project delivery processes within the security program.

• A minimum of 7 years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity projects.<br>• Proven expertise in delivering projects related to cloud security, governance, and compliance.<br>• Strong familiarity with Microsoft security technologies, including Azure AD, Microsoft Defender Suite, and Conditional Access.<br>• Solid understanding of data protection practices, including risk management, policy enforcement, and data classification.<br>• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive results in complex environments.<br>• Project Management certification (PMP) or equivalent is required; additional security certifications are considered an asset.<br>• Experience with tools and technologies such as Atlassian Jira, Cisco, cloud platforms, and ERP systems.<br>• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
