Governance Coordinator
<p>Our client is looking for an experienced<strong> Governance Coordinator</strong> to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta. This role supports governance and administrative activities by coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, tracking deadlines, and managing follow-up items. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrates sound judgment, discretion, and strong communication skills when working with various stakeholders.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate logistics and administration for board and committee meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, and documentation.</li><li>Prepare accurate meeting minutes and maintain records of decisions, action items, and governance documentation.</li><li>Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect reports and required information within established timelines.</li><li>Maintain governance calendars and support annual meeting schedules for multiple boards and committees.</li><li>Review documents for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and consistency before distribution.</li><li>Provide administrative support, including calendar coordination and expense processing.</li><li>Support in-person and virtual meetings, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.</li><li>Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when working with senior leaders and board members.</li></ul>
