Director, Data Governance & Analytics
<p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a strategic and collaborative <strong>Director, Data Governance &amp; Analytics</strong> to lead the evolution of enterprise data governance, analytics, business intelligence, performance measurement, and regulatory reporting. This role partners closely with senior leaders, operational teams, and IT to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.</p><p><em>Key responsibilities include:</em></p><ul><li>Leading enterprise analytics strategy and maturity.</li><li>Strengthening data governance, quality, standards, and accountability.</li><li>Advancing business intelligence, reporting, and performance measurement.</li><li>Building data literacy and self-service reporting capabilities.</li><li>Translating organizational and regulatory priorities into actionable insights.</li><li>Providing strategic direction on analytics platforms and technology.</li><li>Partnering with IT on data architecture, pipelines, and reporting infrastructure.</li><li>Leveraging Power BI, SQL, Azure, and emerging analytics technologies.</li><li>Building consensus and shared ownership of data and reporting.</li><li>Supporting executive and governance-level decision-making.</li><li>Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing analytics team.</li></ul><p><strong>WHY THIS ROLE?</strong></p><p>This is a great opportunity to lead the next phase of an organization’s analytics journey and help shape how data is used to support strategic decision-making, accountability, and performance. <p><strong>WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:</strong></p><p><strong>Top Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, economics, statistics, public administration, or a related discipline.</li><li>Strong expertise in data governance, business intelligence, and performance measurement.</li><li>Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, data visualization, and dashboarding.</li><li>Experience developing analytics strategies, governance frameworks, and reporting capabilities.</li><li>Strong strategic and systems thinking with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and communication skills.</li><li>Proven leadership experience with a focus on coaching and team development.</li><li>Knowledge of analytics platforms, data architecture, and technology strategy.</li><li>Experience leading modernization, transformation, or analytics maturity initiatives considered an asset.</li><li>Experience with Azure, dimensional modelling, or AI-enabled analytics considered an asset.</li></ul><p>If you’re passionate about crafting impactful digital experiences and delivering measurable results, we’d love to hear from you, click the “Apply Now!” link quoting job reference number 05110-0013492511.
