Receptionist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the non-profit sector and make a positive impact in Don Mills, Ontario.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors courteously, directing them to the appropriate department or contact.<br>• Manage multi-line phone systems by answering calls promptly and transferring them as needed.<br>• Maintain up-to-date and organized files, ensuring easy access to information.<br>• Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and other events efficiently.<br>• Handle email correspondence, responding to inquiries and forwarding messages to relevant parties.<br>• Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining records and reports.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to complete daily tasks.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.<br>• Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a non-profit environment.<br>• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling high call volumes.<br>• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.<br>• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Experience with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills for email correspondence and visitor interaction.<br>• Familiarity with data entry and file management processes.
