<p>Robert Half is partnering with a client to hire an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and lead payroll operations for a growing organization. This position is ideal for a payroll professional with strong compliance knowledge, leadership experience, and a track record of ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage full payroll cycle </li><li>Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and garnishments</li><li>Maintain compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll tax laws and reporting requirements</li><li>Supervise payroll staff and provide coaching, training, and performance support</li><li>Review and reconcile payroll reports, general ledger entries, and tax filings</li><li>Partner with Human Resources, Finance, and other internal teams to support employee data accuracy and payroll changes</li><li>Lead payroll audits and support year-end activities</li><li>Evaluate payroll procedures and recommend improvements to strengthen efficiency and controls</li><li>Assist with payroll system updates, implementations, and process documentation</li><li>Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll matters</li></ul>
