Data Analyst
<p>Our client is seeking for a dedicated <strong>Data Analyst</strong> to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports the review, organization, and validation of employee data for reporting and system updates. The ideal candidate enjoys working with large data sets and advanced Excel tools, collaborates effectively with analytics teams, and handles sensitive HR information with accuracy, discretion, and professionalism.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze large HR datasets to identify trends, gaps, and data inconsistencies.</li><li>Build and maintain advanced Excel files using formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and matching functions.</li><li>Extract and consolidate data from HR systems such as BambooHR, ADP, or similar platforms.</li><li>Investigate discrepancies and update records to improve data accuracy.</li><li>Develop mapping tables and data frameworks to align information from multiple sources.</li><li>Perform validation checks and re-run reports to confirm data accuracy.</li><li>Prepare clean, organized datasets for system uploads and reporting.</li><li>Collaborate with HR analysts and stakeholders to support ongoing data analysis initiatives.</li></ul>
