<p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to provide hands-on financial leadership during a period of growth and integration. This contract opportunity will focus on strengthening accounting processes, supporting acquisition-related activities, and enhancing financial reporting and controls.</p><p><em>Responsibilities:</em></p><ul><li>Develop and improve inventory accounting processes, documentation, and workflow mapping</li><li>Review acquisition accounting and purchase price allocations, identifying areas requiring further analysis or adjustment</li><li>Oversee inventory and capital asset tracking, including componentization and movement of parts between inventory and fixed assets</li><li>Prepare month-end and year-end financial reporting packages under ASPE</li><li>Coordinate audit preparation, working papers, and financial statement disclosures</li><li>Partner with the Senior Accountant to support integration and amalgamation initiatives</li><li>Enhance cash flow analysis, consolidation processes, and management reporting</li><li>Assess current financial systems and recommend process or system improvements</li></ul><p><strong>ABOUT YOU:</strong></p><p>You are a collaborative and technically strong finance professional who enjoys improving processes, providing strategic insight, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
