This role is ideal for someone who can balance day-to-day payroll accuracy with long-term process improvement, compliance oversight, and cross-functional partnership. The position plays a key part in supporting multi-state payroll for a large employee population while helping maintain reliable HR technology and operational consistency across locations.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Direct centralized payroll oversight for a multi-state workforce, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule across locations, pay groups, and worker classifications.</p><p>• Create, refine, and maintain payroll procedures, internal controls, and operating standards that support compliance, consistency, and scalable business operations.</p><p>• Review payroll activity completed by local HR teams, identify discrepancies or risk patterns, and guide corrective action to improve quality and reduce recurring errors.</p><p>• Act as the primary escalation resource for complex payroll matters, partnering with HR leadership and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and accurately.</p><p>• Coordinate special payroll activities such as off-cycle payments, bonus processing, manual checks, and year-end payroll requirements.</p><p>• Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and HR to support dependable payroll and HRIS operations, including system integrations, reporting needs, and regulatory updates.</p><p>• Contribute payroll and HRIS expertise during system implementation, data migration, testing, cutover planning, and post-launch stabilization efforts.</p><p>• Develop contingency procedures, backup processes, and recovery plans to help maintain payroll continuity during operational disruptions.</p><p>• Train and support site-based HR teams on payroll practices, system usage, and compliance expectations to promote standardized execution across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em><u>**FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION PLEASE CALL ME TO SCREENAND SHARE.
