  • We are looking for an organized and resourceful Office Manager to support day-to-day workplace operations in Washington, District of Columbia. This Contract position will play a central role in keeping the office efficient, welcoming, and fully functional while coordinating vendors, facilities, and administrative activities. The ideal candidate brings strong operational judgment, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to balance employee support with executive and office priorities.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the daily administration of the office, ensuring facilities, services, and workplace operations run smoothly and efficiently.<br>• Coordinate with landlords, building contacts, and service providers to address access control, repairs, cleaning needs, maintenance issues, and general office functionality.<br>• Lead vendor discussions for office services and supplies, managing pricing, agreements, invoicing, and timely payment follow-up.<br>• Purchase office materials, furniture, and equipment in alignment with company guidelines and budget expectations.<br>• Support new employee setup from their first day by organizing onboarding paperwork, workspace readiness, system access, tools, and orientation logistics.<br>• Maintain office appearance and usability by arranging cleaning schedules, equipment upkeep, and workspace layout improvements as needed.<br>• Plan and execute internal events, team gatherings, and other special projects that enhance employee experience and office engagement.<br>• Provide executive support through calendar coordination, travel bookings, lodging arrangements, and expense report administration.<br>• Assist with employee benefits coordination in partnership with the People &amp; Culture team while helping sustain a safe, secure, and positive work environment.<br>• Track office supply inventory and review purchasing needs to ensure essential items remain available without unnecessary overspending.
