We are looking for a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this Contract to position, you will oversee a range of contract management responsibilities, ensuring compliance and efficiency across various legal and operational processes. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail and expertise in commercial contracts, construction, and insurance. Responsibilities: • Oversee annual insurance audits and ensure all requirements are completed accurately. • Manage legal claims and related matters, including maintaining detailed records of attorney invoices and associated costs. • Process customer and subcontractor bonds while generating real-time reports and projections. • Review customer contracts, bidding documents, and request job-specific insurance quotes. • Conduct risk assessments for subcontractors and execute master agreements efficiently. • Negotiate changes to subcontractor contracts and review credit applications for compliance with terms and conditions. • Address and resolve issues raised by project managers, administrators, and subcontractors to ensure smooth job progression. • Stay informed on construction laws, particularly regarding contracts, bonds, and insurance. • Manage account information, contracts, and insurance data entry, ensuring accuracy. • Evaluate and enforce subcontractor insurance requirements, working with business managers and agents to update coverage as needed.
