This is a highly visible opportunity for someone with a strong <strong>hedge fund accounting and operations background</strong> who enjoys working directly with clients and taking ownership across the full fund lifecycle.</p><p> </p><p>This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, managing competing priorities, and working through both recurring responsibilities and frequent one-off client requests.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with fund administrators on shadow accounting, NAV estimates and review, month-end close, financial statements, portfolio valuation, audits, and tax reporting</li><li>Serve as a key point of contact for clients and fund administrators on investor relations, operational due diligence, and ad-hoc requests</li><li>Review monthly close packages, including financial statements, expense schedules, transparency reports, and investor statements</li><li>Oversee the review and timely completion of year-end financial statements, audits, tax returns, and investor tax reporting</li><li>Oversee daily portfolio reconciliations and trade activity, working closely with prime brokers, custodians, and internal portfolio management systems</li><li>Play an active role in onboarding new funds, including operational setup, vendor selection, and process decisions</li><li>Review fund capital calls, distributions, expense payments, and budgeting</li><li>Provide finance oversight for management companies, including budgeting and vendor management</li><li>Partner with internal teams and external service providers across accounting, operations, technology, tax, compliance, and legal</li><li>Provide regular reporting on revenue, AUM, and fund performance</li><li>Assist with the review of regulatory filings in partnership with the compliance team</li><li>Take ownership of special projects and other client-driven requests as needed</li></ul><p><br></p>
