In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining provider credentialing processes to ensure compliance with insurance and hospital requirements. Your organizational skills and expertise will help streamline credentialing operations and maintain accurate records.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Act as a primary point of contact between the practice, credentialing company, and healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation for insurance credentialing.<br>• Maintain and update provider files, including licenses, certifications, servicing addresses, NPIs, and hospital credentialing or privileges.<br>• Ensure timely submission of applications and required documentation to insurance payers, hospitals, and credentialing companies.<br>• Monitor and manage the renewal of licenses, permits, and malpractice liability certificates to ensure compliance.<br>• Obtain and update hospital affiliation letters, ensuring providers meet all requirements for active and current affiliations.<br>• Organize and maintain detailed records of credentialing and related information in designated systems and databases.<br>• Analyze receivables data such as co-pays, deductibles, contractual adjustments, and underpayments to identify and address discrepancies.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline credentialing processes and resolve any issues or delays.<br>• Handle provider signatures and ensure all necessary paperwork is accurately completed and submitted.
