We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead food safety, compliance, and quality assurance activities at our Beloit, Wisconsin facility. This role is responsible for strengthening quality systems, guiding continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring products consistently meet regulatory, customer, and company expectations. The position also plays a key leadership role in site operations by supporting audits, managing investigations, and developing a high-performing quality team. Responsibilities: • Oversee the site’s food safety and quality programs to ensure procedures are robust, consistently followed, and regularly improved. • Direct product evaluation activities, including in-process controls, material verification, finished goods testing, and release decisions to confirm compliance with defined standards. • Escalate significant food safety or quality concerns to the appropriate leaders when issues require action beyond the facility level. • Lead plant-wide quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture focused on prevention, accountability, and operational excellence. • Plan, manage, and support customer, regulatory, third-party, internal, and hygiene-related audits, including follow-up on findings and corrective actions. • Manage investigations related to product complaints, ensuring timely documentation, communication, root cause analysis, and resolution. • Prepare recurring quality performance reports with trend analysis for plant leadership and production teams to support informed decision-making. • Make disposition decisions for nonconforming materials and finished products, including rework evaluations and controls for rejected inventory. • Identify quality and hygiene training needs, coordinate staff development activities, and create or update SOPs and related documentation as needed. • Lead the quality team, manage departmental performance and budget targets, and contribute to broader plant leadership decisions while providing cross-site support when required.
