This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving, and owning IT operations while supporting both office and field-based employees. This role is ideal for a technically strong IT professional who has personally managed infrastructure, security, Microsoft 365, user support, networking, and day-to-day IT operations in a small to mid-sized business environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Own and manage the company's Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and overall IT infrastructure.</li><li>Serve as the primary IT resource supporting approximately 400 employees, including executives, office staff, and field personnel.</li><li>Administer user accounts, onboarding/offboarding, security groups, permissions, and access controls.</li><li>Configure and manage Windows endpoints, mobile devices, and endpoint security solutions.</li><li>Support and maintain firewalls, networking equipment, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, and internet connectivity.</li><li>Implement and manage cybersecurity measures including MFA, Conditional Access, patching, and security best practices.</li><li>Lead the transition of IT services from the current MSP and assume full ownership of the environment.</li><li>Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, disaster recovery procedures, and operational standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Manage relationships with technology vendors, software providers, telecommunications partners, and future IT service providers.</li><li>Identify and implement improvements that enhance reliability, security, and operational efficiency.</li><li>Help build and scale the internal IT function, including future team growth.</li></ul>
