This role is in the office 2-3 times a week in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities:• Direct daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end closings, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.• Develop and implement effective accounting processes, controls, and policies tailored to a dynamic, multi-entity organization.• Collaborate with FP&A, operations teams, and executive leadership to deliver timely and precise financial analysis and insights.• Oversee the integration of newly acquired entities, ensuring alignment of accounting policies and consolidation of financial statements.• Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and maintain readiness for annual audits.• Lead, train, and support a growing team of accounting staff, including both remote and onsite personnel.• Assist in optimizing accounting systems and processes as the company scales, particularly within healthcare, multisite, or roll-up accounting platforms.• Prepare comprehensive materials for board meetings and maintain direct communication with private equity sponsors.
