- <p>We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support a contract engagement focused on strengthening accounting accuracy and improving system reliability in Carrollton, Texas. This role will concentrate on reviewing financial records, resolving reconciliation issues, and preparing the organization for a smooth year-end close and audit process. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting judgment, hands-on ledger expertise, and the ability to work independently within a complex accounting environment.</p><p>Must have <strong>ACCOUNTMATE</strong> or <strong>ACUMATICA</strong> experience.</p><p>Must have experience with AccountMate software.</p><p>This is a 2-month contract position</p><p>100% REMOTE</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Senior Accountant with AccountMate or Acumatica experience (contract position):</u></strong></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Evaluate the current condition of the AccountMate environment and identify gaps affecting financial accuracy and reporting dependability.</p><p>• Reconcile key subledger activity to the general ledger, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding discrepancies.</p><p>• Review historical accounting records, correct inconsistencies, and improve the quality and integrity of financial data.</p><p>• Prepare and post journal entries as needed to align balances and support accurate financial statements.</p><p>• Develop practical approaches to strengthen month-end and year-end reconciliation and close activities.</p><p>• Support audit readiness by organizing documentation, validating balances, and helping ensure records can withstand external review.</p><p>• Provide subject matter guidance on accounting system cleanup, troubleshooting, and process improvements related to AccountMate.</p><p>• Work independently with management to prioritize issues, communicate findings, and recommend sustainable corrective actions.</p>
