This role will establish reliable financial processes, strengthen reporting accuracy, and create the controls needed to support expansion. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to guide teams through disciplined financial operations. Responsibilities:• Build and standardize the company’s accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll processes, and a disciplined monthly close cycle.• Introduce and manage expense management and payment solutions that improve visibility, control spending, and support efficient workflows.• Create and enforce internal control procedures such as approval structures, separation of responsibilities, vendor record maintenance, and compliance documentation.• Prepare and oversee routine financial reporting that supports leadership decision-making and strengthens readiness for future financing activities and external review.• Develop accounting and reporting frameworks that can support expansion from a small number of locations to a large multi-entity, multi-site organization.• Establish cost tracking and performance reporting for retail sales within each location, including product categories such as beverages, supplements, and apparel.• Serve as the primary accounting contact for outside partners, including banking institutions, public accounting firms, and future audit providers.• Recruit, mentor, and expand the accounting team over time, creating a strong foundation for long-term departmental growth.
