<p>We are partnering with a California university on an urgent maternity leave coverage need for an experienced Public Records Act Specialist to support its Records and Information Management team through approximately mid-November 2026. This individual will step into an active public records compliance function and play a key role in managing California Public Records Act (CPRA) and Information Practices Act (IPA) requests involving research records, patient information, personnel matters, litigation-related materials, media inquiries, and other sensitive institutional records. This is a highly independent role requiring a strong understanding of California public records laws, statutory response requirements, exemption analysis, legal review, and redaction practices.
