The firm operates on a hybrid model, with a strong preference for spending at least three days per week in the Chicago office in coordination with leadership.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><p>Elevate Internal Technology Experience</p><ul><li>Significantly improve internal satisfaction with technology and tech support</li><li>Ensure team members feel supported, empowered, and unencumbered by avoidable technical issues</li><li>Collect and act on ongoing feedback to continuously improve the user experience</li></ul><p>Manage Managed Service Provider (MSP)</p><ul><li>Oversee the firm’s MSP and ensure SLAs are consistently met or exceeded</li><li>Drive a high-touch, white-glove support culture</li><li>Own vendor contracts and renewals across hardware, software, cybersecurity, and IT services</li><li>Hold MSP and security partners accountable through structured performance reviews</li><li>Lead quarterly MSP and vCISO alignment sessions</li><li>Step in hands-on when needed to expedite resolutions or validate MSP work</li></ul><p>Own IT Infrastructure</p><ul><li>Manage hardware lifecycle planning, procurement, and inventory</li><li>Coordinate onboarding and offboarding in partnership with HR and external partners</li><li>Administer core platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Box, Microsoft 365, and other key applications</li><li>Ensure strong identity and access management through Okta</li><li>Oversee JAMF or Intune policies with MSP support</li><li>Maintain accurate internal documentation, runbooks, and system records</li><li>Handle escalated troubleshooting as needed</li></ul><p>Cybersecurity Leadership</p><ul><li>Serve as the internal point of contact for information security</li><li>Conduct basic internal checks including device compliance, MFA enforcement, and endpoint security</li><li>Partner with vCISO providers on threat monitoring, SIEM/log reviews, risk and vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning</li><li>Support evaluation and selection of vCISO partners</li><li>Ensure clear alignment and execution of security responsibilities across vendors</li></ul><p><br></p>
