  • <p>Our client is seeking a <strong>Supplier Quality Engineer</strong> to drive supplier quality performance, lead corrective action initiatives, and reduce manufacturing defects and material-related scrap. This role partners closely with suppliers, engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure purchased materials meet quality expectations and support continuous improvement efforts.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead supplier quality investigations, containment activities, and corrective action efforts.</li><li>Partner with suppliers to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions using methodologies such as <strong>8D</strong> and continuous improvement tools.</li><li>Coordinate material sorting and containment activities with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party providers.</li><li>Track and analyze supplier-related quality issues, assembly damage, and scrap trends.</li><li>Drive process improvement initiatives using <strong>DMAIC</strong>, Pareto analysis, trend analysis, and data-driven action plans.</li><li>Manage the supplier failure analysis process, including tracking returned materials and ensuring timely supplier responses.</li><li>Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Process Engineering, and Test Engineering teams to improve product quality and reduce costs.</li><li>Support ISO 9001 quality management activities, including internal audits, documentation, calibration, and continuous improvement efforts.</li><li>Prepare reports and communicate quality performance metrics to management and key stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p>
