<p>Our client is seeking an experienced Azure/M365 Engineer to join their team, supporting cloud transformation and optimization initiatives. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure and M365 environments in line with security standards, business goals, and cloud strategy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, deploy, and manage Azure and M365 infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and collaboration platforms.</li><li>Integrate and support hybrid environments by connecting on-premises systems with Azure/M365 services.</li><li>Lead efforts in identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, and privileged access management.</li><li>Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates using tools like Terraform and PowerShell.</li><li>Implement best practices for scalability, security, cost optimization, and resource monitoring.</li><li>Collaborate across Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to support deployments, troubleshoot incidents, and enforce governance policies.</li><li>Produce architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and technical documentation for planned initiatives.</li><li>Manage cost controls, backup, disaster recovery solutions, and ensure compliance with both internal policies and industry regulations.</li><li>Conduct regular audits, compliance checks, and optimization reviews of Azure/M365 environments.</li><li>Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as PowerAutomate, Logic Apps, and Python scripting.</li><li>Stay current with platform updates and emerging cloud technologies.</li></ul>
