The AML Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s anti-money laundering compliance program by monitoring transactions, reviewing alerts, investigating suspicious activity, and helping ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role works closely with compliance, risk, legal, and operations teams to identify potential financial crime risks and escalate issues as needed.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review transaction monitoring alerts and investigate unusual or potentially suspicious activity</li><li>Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews</li><li>Analyze customer profiles, account activity, and transactional behavior for AML risk indicators</li><li>Prepare clear, accurate case documentation and investigative reports</li><li>Escalate potentially suspicious activity and support Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) preparation, where applicable</li><li>Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening reviews</li><li>Assist with periodic KYC refreshes and ongoing customer risk assessments</li><li>Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory and internal compliance requirements</li><li>Support internal audits, regulatory exams, and compliance testing activities</li><li>Identify process improvement opportunities to strengthen AML controls and investigation workflows</li><li>Stay current on AML regulations, financial crime trends, and internal policy updates</li></ul>
