The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting principles and leadership, ensuring accurate reporting and encouraging growth within the department.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage the daily operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, deposits, and general ledger activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Lead month-end closing processes, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of financial reports.<br>• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax reporting requirements, and regulatory standards, including 1099 and sales tax filings.<br>• Act as a point of escalation for complex accounting issues, supporting collections efforts and maintaining data integrity within financial systems.<br>• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and standardize workflows across the accounting team.<br>• Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, promoting development and accountability.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address internal and external customer needs and exceed expectations.<br>• Support audits, tax compliance, and financial reviews while ensuring all documentation and processes meet required standards.<br>• Travel as needed to attend meetings, events, or training sessions, totaling approximately 3–4 weeks per year.<br>• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and optimize financial processes.
