Responsibilities: • Conduct operational, compliance, and financial audits to evaluate organizational processes and ensure adherence to established standards. • Review and approve audit working papers, ensuring compliance with auditing standards. • Assist in performing annual risk assessments and contribute to the development of both short-term and long-term audit plans. • Apply extensive knowledge of internal auditing principles and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAAS) in all aspects of work. • Utilize advanced financial calculation and reporting skills to analyze data and deliver actionable insights. • Collaborate with team members to identify issues, recommend improvements, and enhance overall organizational performance. • Leverage proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, audit software, and data analysis tools to streamline audit processes. • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges effectively. • Ensure all audit findings are documented accurately and communicated to relevant stakeholders. • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function.
