This role partners with internal teams and suppliers to secure materials and services, maintain purchasing continuity, and help improve operational efficiency across supply chain activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work setting from Tuesday through Thursday.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Convert approved purchasing requests into accurate purchase orders after verifying required details and supporting documentation.</p><p>• Work closely with planning partners to replenish stock and non-stock materials using system-driven reports, usage trends, and established inventory thresholds.</p><p>• Lead competitive sourcing activities by gathering supplier quotations or proposals, comparing commercial terms, and preparing clear recommendations for award decisions.</p><p>• Resolve purchasing issues by coordinating with suppliers, accounts payable, and internal stakeholders on delivery delays, pricing variances, returns, cancellations, and warranty matters.</p><p>• Oversee material movement and delivery coordination for project-related purchases, including receipt, inspection, handling, and shipment to warehouses or job sites.</p><p>• Partner with accounts payable to address invoice exceptions, payment processing concerns, and order-related holds so operational schedules remain on track.</p><p>• Maintain blanket purchase orders by updating pricing and related purchasing information as business needs change.</p><p>• Review demand forecasts with business and project planning teams to confirm materials are ordered on time and expedite critical items when needed.</p><p>• Develop and sustain productive supplier relationships while identifying additional sourcing options that align with company policies and ethical procurement standards.</p>
