We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Otsego, Michigan. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and resources through our production processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to operational efficiency while collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain inventory accuracy and scheduling systems. This role is 100% onsite M-F 7am-5pm Responsibilities:• Manage schedules, records, and reports to track materials throughout the production cycle and ensure resource availability.• Perform system transactions to support the receipt, storage, and transfer of materials.• Monitor inventory levels and generate tracking reports, while performing necessary data entry.• Act as a liaison between the Planning Manager and Operations Manager to ensure proper execution of scheduling systems.• Communicate with vendors to address and resolve late purchase orders.• Oversee daily job scheduling and conduct regular reviews of the Kanban board.• Gain proficiency in inventory management software to generate monthly usage updates.• Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate and efficient scheduling processes.
