This role involves direct representation of national and regional insurers in complex, high-exposure matters involving commercial motor vehicles, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead all phases of litigation from pre-suit through trial and appeal.</p><p>• Conduct case assessments, liability evaluations, and coverage analyses.</p><p>• Manage discovery involving telematics, ECM data, and driver records.</p><p>• Take and defend depositions of drivers, witnesses, and experts.</p><p>• Retain and prepare experts in accident reconstruction, medical causation, and trucking compliance.</p><p>• Draft and argue dispositive and evidentiary motions in state and federal court.</p><p>• Provide strategic reporting to insurance clients, including exposure analysis and settlement recommendations.</p><p>• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with Colorado litigation procedures, including damage caps and comparative fault rules.</p><p>• Stay current on FMCSA regulations and Colorado trucking laws.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>• J.D. from an accredited law school.</p><p>• 7+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense and trucking/transportation.</p><p>• Trial experience preferred.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of Colorado tort law and FMCSA regulations.</p><p>• Excellent writing, advocacy, and case management skills.</p><p><br></p><p>To Apply:</p><p>Send your resume and writing sample to corey.tasker@roberthalf[[dot]]com for immediate consideration.</p>
