We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations for a residential community. This is a Contract position suited for a detail-oriented individual who can help maintain a safe, well-run environment for residents while supporting financial, administrative, and operational goals. The ideal candidate will build productive relationships with residents, staff, vendors, and leadership while helping the property remain compliant, organized, and fiscally responsible.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Support the daily administration of property operations to help maintain a clean, safe, and efficiently managed community.<br>• Assist with staff coordination, onboarding support, training follow-up, scheduling, and day-to-day performance oversight in partnership with site leadership.<br>• Help maintain compliance with housing regulations, fair housing standards, Section 504 guidelines, and company policies across resident and property records.<br>• Oversee resident file accuracy, including move-in documentation, recertifications, waiting list activity, and occupancy tracking.<br>• Coordinate maintenance requests, monitor preventive service schedules, and work with vendors and internal teams to ensure repairs and property improvements are completed effectively.<br>• Contribute to budget oversight by tracking expenses, organizing financial records, supporting annual budget planning, and helping manage accounts receivable, billing, and rent collection activity.<br>• Review delinquent balances with leadership, support collection efforts, and document follow-up actions related to outstanding resident accounts.<br>• Prepare documentation for audits and inspections by organizing required records and confirming that site files are complete and accessible.<br>• Assist with unit marketing and leasing support in alignment with approved plans and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
