The successful candidate will be highly proactive and comfortable opening doors, identifying business needs, coordinating internal subject matter experts, and helping turn new relationships into long-term strategic partnerships.</p><p><br></p><p>The role will initially have a strong emphasis on <strong>new business development and relationship creation</strong>, with the opportunity to take on greater strategic account and relationship management responsibility as the individual's book of business grows.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Identify and prospect new business opportunities across physician groups, provider organizations, hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare organizations.</li><li>Develop relationships with physicians, practice leaders, healthcare executives, and other key decision-makers.</li><li>Conduct outbound business development through phone, email, networking, referrals, market research, and in-person relationship building.</li><li>Secure qualified meetings with prospective healthcare partners and uncover organizational needs, growth plans, and business challenges.</li><li>Learn multiple business lines and identify opportunities to connect prospective clients with appropriate solutions and internal resources.</li><li>Partner with internal subject matter experts to move opportunities forward and provide a consultative experience to prospective clients.</li><li>Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospective relationships and business opportunities across assigned markets.</li><li>Maintain consistent follow-up throughout longer, relationship-driven sales cycles.</li><li>Develop relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand those partnerships.</li><li>Participate in client meetings, industry events, market visits, and other relationship-development activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate prospect, activity, pipeline, and relationship information within CRM and sales systems.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership throughout the business development process.</li></ul><p>Travel & Work Environment</p><p>This position is <strong>onsite in Nashville, Tennessee</strong>. 5 days a week in the Green Hills area.</p><p><br></p><p>Travel typically averages <strong>2–3 trips per month</strong> for client meetings, market visits, industry events, and relationship development.
