Responsibilities: What you will do: • Track and analyze private equity fund performance, including gross and net Internal Rates of Return (IRRs), investment multiples, and preferred returns. • Analyze fund performance under various financial and investment scenarios to support strategic decision-making. • Assist with the quarterly close process and quarterly valuation of investment portfolios. • Prepare and/or review quarterly financial statements, investor reporting packages, and Limited Partner communications. • Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors. • Ensure the accurate flow of financial information through complex investment structures, including holding companies, intermediary entities, blocker entities, and investment funds. • Prepare and review capital calls, investor distributions, management fee calculations, and carried interest allocations. • Ensure compliance with fund operating agreements, partnership agreements, and investor side letters. • Partner with cross-functional teams to support fund operations, reporting requirements, and strategic initiatives. • Provide technical accounting guidance, identify opportunities to improve processes and internal controls, and mentor entry level team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
