<p>Robert Half is partnering with a National Manufacturing Company and sourcing for a Trade Compliance Specialist to support import compliance activities by helping ensure adherence to customs regulations and international trade requirements. This role partners with internal stakeholders and external service providers to manage product classification, country of origin review, import documentation, customs entry support, and compliance reporting.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Maintain adherence to import and trade regulations by applying U.S. Customs requirements and broader international compliance standards.</li><li>Assign and review product tariff classifications and update related tracking tools and reference data as needed.</li><li>Evaluate country of origin details and confirm that labeling and marking obligations are properly addressed.</li><li>Partner with service providers and internal departments to facilitate the timely and accurate processing of import entries.</li><li>Examine shipment and customs-related paperwork to ensure completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Oversee import activity involving applicable government agencies and verify that required agency standards are satisfied.</li><li>Contribute to responses for regulatory reviews, customs questions, and formal information requests.</li><li>Provide support during external assessments of the trade compliance function and related controls.</li><li>Assist in establishing, measuring, and maintaining reporting metrics tied to compliance performance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
