This is a Contract position within the Information Technology industry for a detail-oriented individual who can manage sensitive issues with accuracy, analyze benefit data, and partner across teams to keep programs compliant and employee-focused. The ideal candidate brings hands-on human resources experience, a solid foundation in benefits operations, and the ability to resolve complex cases while improving processes and communications.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage escalated benefits matters, including complex claims, exception requests, and correction scenarios, while working with providers and internal partners to reach timely resolutions.<br>• Administer enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and terminations with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and employee experience.<br>• Lead open enrollment activities by coordinating system setup validation, testing, issue tracking, stakeholder collaboration, and post-enrollment payroll review.<br>• Perform recurring audits across eligibility, dependent verification, deductions, and coverage records, then investigate discrepancies and establish controls to reduce repeat errors.<br>• Oversee complicated leave cases in partnership with the leave administrator, ensuring benefits handling and payroll deductions are managed correctly through each stage of leave.<br>• Reconcile carrier invoices against payroll and benefits records, resolve retroactive differences, and provide supporting documentation needed for finance close activities.<br>• Create employee-facing materials such as guides, targeted updates, and FAQs, and deliver training sessions that improve understanding of benefit programs and leave processes.<br>• Monitor vendor service performance, address recurring service issues, and recommend improvements to the Benefits Manager based on trends and operational findings.<br>• Maintain process documentation, refine workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy, and support team capability building through guidance and quality reviews.
