  • <p>Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and employee-focused <strong>Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist</strong> to join our Human Resources team in Englewood, Colorado. The LOA Specialist will be responsible for administering and managing employee leave programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for employees navigating leaves of absence, disability claims, accommodations, and related benefits. This position is fully remote but MUST reside in Colorado.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of leave laws including FMLA, ADA, and Colorado Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI), along with excellent communication and case management skills.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Administer all aspects of employee leave programs, including:</li><li>Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)</li><li>Colorado FAMLI Leave</li><li>Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations</li><li>Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (STD/LTD)</li><li>Workers&#39; Compensation leave coordination</li><li>Personal and military leaves of absence</li><li>Serve as the primary contact for employees, managers, and HR partners regarding leave requests and eligibility.</li><li>Review and process leave documentation, medical certifications, and accommodation requests.</li><li>Coordinate with third-party leave and disability administrators to ensure timely claim processing.</li><li>Track leave durations, return-to-work dates, and required communications.</li><li>Manage interactive ADA accommodation processes and maintain compliant documentation.</li><li>Educate employees and managers on leave policies, benefits, and return-to-work procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations.</li><li>Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems.</li><li>Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure accurate pay and benefits administration during leave periods.</li><li>Assist with audits, reporting, and policy updates related to leave administration.</li><li>Recommend process improvements to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.</li></ul><p><br></p>
