Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Construction Accountant will: <br><br>• Prepare and post journal entries for various financial transactions, such as accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.<br>• Reconcile general ledger accounts to confirm accuracy and completeness of financial data.<br>• Assist with month end closing activities including WIP and calculation of percentage of completion. <br>• Prepare billing, invoicing, and project-related transactions.<br>• Perform variance analysis on project related expenses and project estimates.<br>• Prepare final closeouts for completed projects. <br>• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.<br>• Assist with other duties as assigned. <br><br>Construction Accountant qualifications: BS Degree, 2+ years’ full cycle general ledger accounting and intermediate MS Excel skills.
