The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, knowledge of California landlord-tenant law, and experience handling cases under San Francisco’s rent control ordinances.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Represent landlords in unlawful detainer (eviction) proceedings from pre-litigation notices to trial.</li><li>Draft and serve notices to vacate, including 3-day notices to pay or quit, cure or quit, and termination notices.</li><li>File and litigate unlawful detainer cases, including motions, discovery, settlement negotiations, and trial.</li><li>Appear in court hearings and trials in San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area courts.</li><li>Provide legal counsel on rent control laws, tenant buyout agreements, and property management compliance.</li><li>Defend landlords against wrongful eviction, habitability claims, and fair housing complaints.</li><li>Work with property managers, real estate investors, and property owners to ensure legal compliance.</li></ul><p><br></p>
