This position focuses on reviewing daily stock activity, maintaining consistency between inventory and accounting records, and helping ensure product movement is reflected correctly across systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with transactional data, and able to investigate variances with a high degree of accuracy. Responsibilities: • Review daily inventory activity to confirm receipts, issues, transfers, returns, adjustments, and scrap entries are recorded correctly in the inventory management system. • Enter and maintain inventory-related postings in the accounting platform to keep financial records current and accurate. • Compare inventory balances across inventory and accounting systems and resolve differences in a timely manner. • Monitor stock held at external warehouse locations and reconcile those balances against internal financial records. • Process inventory movements tied to outside warehouse sales so finished goods are properly reflected for order fulfillment support. • Research discrepancies involving quantities, unit measurements, and posting timing, then coordinate corrective action as needed. • Verify monthly inventory transactions in financial reporting tools to support accurate period-end reporting. • Assist with physical inventory activities and contribute to ongoing improvements in inventory control processes.
