- <p>We are looking for a Dispatcher to coordinate daily delivery activity and keep routes running smoothly from our operation. This is in Brighton, Michigan. The pay is $24 per hour and fully onsite. The shift is 5am to 130pm This is a long term opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing logistics, driver support, and real-time problem solving in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will help organize route execution, monitor delivery progress, and address service issues to support efficient final-mile operations. Only those who qualify will be considered.</p><p>Two shifts available Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday</p><p>Must be able to able to work 5:00AM to 330PM shift.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Duties:</p><p>The role is mainly a desk-based logistics and service-coordinator job, not an inbound-call dispatch job.</p><p>• Each Dispatcher supports about 60 drivers, and each driver has about 40 deliveries.</p><p>• tracking and building driver route schedules.</p><p>• During peak periods, Dispatchers may help sort packages for a limited time</p><p>• Pre-Loadout: Receiving trucks, facilitating sort and stage routes, and prepare facility for loadout</p><p>• Loadout: Check in drivers, answer questions (i.e., drive missing a package), check out drivers, and coach drivers</p><p>on performance, compliance, and delivery best practices</p><p>• Post-Loadout: Reset the floor, reconcile issues with failed packages, submit risk report if applicable, monitor</p><p>drivers on routes, audit proof of delivery (POD) photos and flag missing or incorrect PODs, escalate payment,</p><p>compliance, or technical issues, and document them, and draft handoff report to remote dispatch team for</p><p>evening.</p><p>Required Skills: Excellent customer service and data entry.</p>

This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who thrives in a desk-based service coordination role, balancing route oversight, driver support, and operational follow-through throughout the day. The position requires strong judgment, clear communication, and comfort working across digital tools while helping keep deliveries on track. You will play an important role in maintaining an organized dispatch floor and supporting drivers from pre-loadout through post-route follow-up. There are two part time shifts available and one full-time dispatcher role available.</p><p><br></p><p>Full-Time Dispatch</p><ul><li>There are 2 weekly shifts: Sunday - Wednesday and Wednesday - Saturday</li><li>These are 4, 10 hour days with a 30-minute lunch included</li><li>5a-330p (local time)</li></ul><p>Part Time <strong>Regular </strong>Dispatch</p><ul><li>There are 2 weekly shifts: Sunday - Wednesday and Wednesday - Saturday</li><li>6p-10p (local time)</li><li><strong>Regular </strong>will run starting ASAP through the end of March 2027</li><li>Training will occur via zoom/google link</li><li>Remote online training will occur from 9a-5p CT on Monday and Tuesday of each week.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Part Time <strong>Seasonal </strong>Dispatch</p><ul><li>There are 2 weekly shifts: Sunday - Wednesday and Wednesday - Saturday</li><li>7a-12p (local time)</li><li><strong>Seasonal </strong>will run starting ASAP through the 2<em>nd</em> week of January ending 1/15/27</li><li>Training will occur via zoom/google link</li><li>Remote online training will occur from 9a-5p CT on Monday and Tuesday of each week.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate daily dispatch activity for a high-volume driver group by monitoring route progress, adjusting priorities, and helping maintain efficient delivery execution.</p><p>• Use scheduling and tracking platforms to build, review, and update driver routes while keeping dispatch information accurate and current.</p><p>• Support pre-loadout operations by receiving inbound trucks, organizing package sorting and staging, and preparing the site for driver departures.</p><p>• Manage loadout activities by checking drivers in and out, resolving package-related questions, and providing practical guidance on service standards, compliance, and delivery performance.</p><p>• Oversee post-loadout tasks such as reconciling undelivered or failed packages, resetting operational areas, and preparing clear handoff notes for the remote evening dispatch team.</p><p>• Monitor drivers while they are on the road, identify issues affecting delivery completion, and escalate payment, technical, or policy concerns to the appropriate teams.</p><p>• Review proof-of-delivery images for completeness and accuracy, flag missing or incorrect documentation, and ensure follow-up actions are recorded.</p><p>• Help maintain continuous workstation coverage across the dispatch area and step into package sorting support during peak periods when operational needs require it.</p>
